KFF QuoteJuly16

This quote made me think of a post I read earlier from an old friend, he put it in the simplest terms… “Never accept a “no” from someone who does not have the authority to say “yes.” Sometimes we put too much value on what others say and think, and not only are we putting value in the wrong areas, we allow these influences to hinder our progress. As scary as this thought may be, we don’t always know the motives of others, but the reality is that it is not our place to try and figure it out. Instead of allowing yourself to sink and entertain self-doubt, each no and each (non)encourager should make you push even harder. Just like Marianne Williamson said, “You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.” Love & Blessings ~Kia
