I am continuing on with SuperSets & FST-7, which is really two of my favorite ways to train.  This training was originally for yesterday (June 24), but I opted to do my workout in the park with the kiddos and hubby.  After 30 minutes of playing basketball and another 30+ minutes playing baseball at 9:30 in the morning, in this Vegas heat (it had to be about 100 degrees already), we all worked up a serious sweat and I just saved this for today.  For the last couple months I have been training from home, so getting back in the gym, lifting in a different environment with more equipment has me pumped and this workout was just everything….I mean intense, I was focused and just gave it my all.  However, I am currently on the lookout for my shuffle (I can’t find it anywhere), even with taking the hubby apple shuffle and listening to his music (a little different from mine), I was getting hype from the music…let’s just say a particular song, that could have been with Pharrell or even Snoop–I am not confirming or denying this :-), had me about to bust a move in the gym, lol!

Background TidBits:

superset is when one set of an exercise is performed directly after a set of a different exercise without rest between them. Once each superset is complete, rest for specific amount of time (typically 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes) and repeat.

FST7 (Fascia Stretch Training 7) is a training principle created by Hany Rambod, the Pro Creator.  The seven refers to 7 sets performed usually as the final exercise of a target bodypart. Basically you train that bodypart on any given day heavy as you normally would keeping the rep range between 8-12 (some use 12-15), with minimal rest in between to get the best pump possible.
