Grilled Shrimp Tacos w/Cilantro Cream

Tacos are really one of the easiest recipes you can whip together, swap out the typical beef or chicken with grilled shrimp and you have a tasty lunch or dinner. For that special touch, top these tacos with a Cilantro Cream for that street taco flair!!

  • 12 Small Corn Tortillas
Shrimp Tacos
  • 1.5 lb Raw Shrimp
  • ½ tbs Minced Garlic
  • ½ tbs Cumin
  • ½ tbs Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp + ⅛ tsp Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
Cilantro Cream
  • 170g (¾ cup) Fage Greek Yogurt
  • 6g (6tbs) Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tbs Lime Juice from ( ½) Lime
  • 80g (½ cup) Purple Onion
  • 60g (2 cups) Spinach
  • 186g (3) Roma Tomato
  • 100g (1) Avocado
What You Need
  • Grill/Indoor Grill/or Skillet
  • Large Bowl (Shrimp)
  • Platter
  • Medium Bowl (Cilantro Cream)
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Knife
  • Cooking Spray/Olive Oil
  • 6 Plates
  • Scale
  • Use a skewer if grilling shrimp, be sure to soak in water to prevent burning on the grill.
  1. Heat grill or skillet, spray with oil. Warm tortillas (Can be done in oven, wrap in foil and heat).
  2. (Cilantro Cream) Chop Cilantro, combine cilantro and remaining ingredients for Cilantro Cream in medium bowl, mix. Set aside in refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. Remove tails from Shrimp if needed, place in large bowl. Add remaining Shrimp Spices to bowl, toss to coat evenly. Place on grill or in skillet and cook. Once completed, remove and set aside on platter.
  4. Prepare all topping ingredients, chop Onions/Tomatoes/Spinach and Slice Avocado. Place (2) Corn Tortillas on (6) plates, top each with equal amounts Spinach, Onions, Tomatoes and Avocado.
  5. Top each taco with Shrimp and a dollop of Cilantro Cream.
  6. Enjoy!!
