Green Mango Madness

This delicious smoothie was paired with scrambled eggs and a side of toast with fruit spread for my kiddos this morning. Remember, great meals that are balanced and nourishing does not require hours on end in the kitchen. This was quick and easy and I feel reassured knowing that I sent them to school with a good breakfast that will help fuel their day.

One way to do this is to offer mangoes and bananas, which are easily digested, they stay in the stomach for a shorter amount of time than fat or protein, and of course they taste great!   • 4 cups Spinach (or Mixed Greens)
  • 2 cups Frozen Mango
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 cups Liquid (Unsweetened Almond Coconut Milk, Water, Milk)
  • 2 tbs Hemp Seeds
  • Ice (Optional)
What You Need
  • Blender
  • Instead of blending your Hemp Seeds with your smoothie, try adding them afterwards with a simple stir to keep them whole.
  1. Add all items to Blender.
  2. Enjoy!!!
Remember, you can always adjust recipe to smaller or larger portions to meet your needs and goals.
