Daily Juice: Green Apple Blitz

This was another tasty blend to jump start my day. Regardless of what you juice, the pineapple always adds an amazing sweet & tangy twist. As always, for an extra boost of energy and other health benefits, I added the optional ingredients listed (You can add if you desire or omit). Enjoy!!

Health Highlights: Apples have the second-highest level of antioxidant activity of any consumed fruit (Note**The apple peel has the most potent antioxidant activity, much of this is removed in the juicing process). They also contain Boron, a mineral that assists in bone-building. (The Blended Drink Handbook, 2012)

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Kale
  • 2 Celery Sticks
  • ½ Cucumber
  • Cilantro
  • Parsley
  • 1 Fuji Apple
  • 1 Cup Pineapples
Optional Ingredients
  • 2tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4tbs Lemon Juice
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ginger
Instruction
  1. Add all items to juicer.
  2. Enjoy!!
