A perfect combination of Homemade Hoisin Sauce with thin cut Sirloin, Carrots and Scallions.
Homemade Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbs Braggs Soy, Liquid Aminos (Soy Sauce of choice)
  • 1tbs Natural Peanut Butter
  • ½ tbs Raw Honey
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tsp Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp Hot Sauce
Remaining Sauce Ingredients
  • 2tbs Rice Vinegar
  • 1tbs Cornstarch (I use Bob's Red Mill)
  • ½ tsp Pepper Flakes
Skillet Ingredients
  • 1 tbs Olive Oil
  • 2tsp Minced Garlic (Bottled)
  • 5g Scallions
  • 85g Shredded Carrots
  • 16oz (1lb) Thin Cut Sirloin
What You Need
  • Skillet
  • Small Bowl
  • Knife or Kitchen Shears
  • Spoon/Whisk
  • Spatula/Large Spoon
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Cutting Board
  • If your Peanut Butter is not soft or spreadable, heat in microwave for a few seconds.
  • Serve over rice of choice
  1. Clean and prepare your vegetables. Slice Scallions crosswise to ½ -1 inch thick. Set aside.
  2. Combine all ingredients for Homemade Hoisin Sauce, whisk together.
  3. Add remaining sauce ingredients and whisk together. Set aside.
  4. Prepare your Sirloin. Remove any moisture with a napkin and cut into thin slices using a knife or kitchen shears.
  5. Add ½ tbs Olive Oil to your skillet and heat on high. Add your Sirloin, cook 2-3 minutes on each side allowing it to slightly brown. Transfer to plate.
  6. Keep heat on high, add remaining ½ tbs Olive Oil, Minced Garlic and Scallions. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Continue to stir as you add ingredients.
  7. Add Shredded Carrots and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Continue to stir
  8. Add Sauce, Sirloin and combine all ingredients together and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  9. Enjoy
