  • 1 Navel Orange
  • 45g Navel Orange (Removed from center)
  • 48g (1 Serving) Hinode Black Rice or 1 serving Grain of Choice (Previously prepared)
  • 3-4 oz Shrimp
  • 10g Sun-Maid Golden Raisins
  • Vegetable of Choice (Scallions, Peppers, Onions, etc)
  • Seasonings of Choice (Minced Garlic, Thyme, Pepper, Salt, etc)
What You Need
  • Knife
  • Baking Dish
  • Bowl
  • Spoon/Scooper
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Scale
  • Aluminum Foil
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice top of Navel Orange and remove/spoon out insides. Be sure not to pierce the skin.
  3. Place sliced top back on orange. Wrap whole Navel Orange tightly in foil, place in oven for 15 mins.
  4. Combine prepared Black Rice with remaining ingredients. Season as you desire.
  5. Remove Navel Orange from oven, spoon Black Rice Mixture into Navel Orange. Top orange with the sliced top, wrap in foil and bake for addition 10 mins. (If some filling remains, you can use it as a side dish)
  6. Remove from oven, remove foil and plate as you desire.
  7. Enjoy!!
